The Department of Education and Psychology, Academy of Wellness and Human Development, The Hong Kong Baptist University, invites applications for interdisciplinary PhD studentships for the incoming September. PhD students will also be affiliated with Life Science Imaging Center: https://lsic.hkbu.edu.hk/
LSIC is equipped with 3T MRI Prisma, electroencephalogram (EEG) , Functional near infra-red spectroscopy (fNIRS), Eyetracking, and Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) system. We are seeking motivated students to join our distinctive PhD program, which provides opportunities to engage in neuroscience research at the intersection of mental health, film/arts, and sports. The positions are open to students specialized in psychology, computer science, biomedical engineering, and areas related to cognitive neuroscience.

Postdoc/Research fellow
Postdoctoral research fellows are supported by research grants.
Applicants should have a PhD degree with a good record of empirical brain imaging (MRI/EEG/fNIRS/TMS) research experience. The appointees should have a demonstrable interest in interdisciplinary research and are expected to conduct research of high quality and submit grant proposals.

Each university can only nominate up to 12 candidates and PDFS will provide support to 50 awardees.
The PDFS nominee must have obtained a PhD degree within 3 years or will complete the requirement of a PhD degree within one year.
